Thanks for visiting malemodel.com. My name is Mike, and I live in Los Angeles, CA, where I was born and raised. I created this site for one simple fact - I love the male physique and I am very much into health and fitness. So the idea of taking hot, athletic guys and helping them get established in fitness, sports or physique modeling was a natural fit for me.

Although malemodel.com is a very new site (launched in 2009), it is growing very rapidly. My main ideas behind the site are as follows:

• 1. Providing unknown or undiscovered potential models (and established working models are welcome too) with free exposure on our site - which will hopefully lead them to opportunities as fitness/sports models or open up new doors for them in the fitness, commercial or entertainment industries. Since many bigger modeling sites and sources cater to a large segment of modeling and models (such as female, fashion, commercial, etc.), a male fitness model can easily be lost in a sea of thousands of other models - which is why our niche is strictly male fitness modeling. This gives the guys on our site a much greater chance of being seen by the right people.

• 2. To create a great experience for site visitors. Namely, to present a good variety of hot guys, and with “real” guys. Many sites offer only commercially produced images of established models who never know what sites they end up on. Here visitors will find the real thing, and they have the ability to vote and comment on who they like, which provides great feedback for the guys.

To further expand the site, I am looking to network with fitness and sports marketers, talent and modeling agents, models, athletes, bodybuilders, photographers, and other industry professionals that would benefit from cross promotion or partnerships.
